Verizon says the iPhone accounted for 6.2 million out of the 9.8 million smartphones sold. If apple keeps up they would have shipped out 56 million iPhones within three months. This doubled the amount that was shipped out in the previous quarter. All smartphone sales were up 44% but apple had the most. When the iPhone 4s came out apple activated 46 million phones. Apple is a major contributor to the smartphone industry.

The Search Under Ice
Many Police and other rescuers have resumed their search for two missing teenagers that have supposedly fell through a partially frozen lake. People say that they heard screams yelling for help at about 6 P.M. and called the police about the screams. The search so far hasn't been successful. As they searched Monday night a helicopter was flying overhead as dozens of rescuers searched the icy lake. The police told the news that as the night went on the less likely they would be to find them. One of the police officers wrote on his facebook page, "I am sad to report that we likely lost two young adults in Mount Olive this evening."

The pilot dropped the plane down to 300 feet. The man then looked at the plane and hooked up a red trailer and left. The pilot then radioed in to the police and the police arrested him on the highway. The man was then released out of jail on a $2,500 bond.
